The Jam Factory

    The Jam Factory was born when Klongsan old-fashioned buildings were renovated into gallery, bookshop, café, restaurant, lifestyle and art platform and design market alongside the vast Chao Praya river. LHONG 1919

    Built in 1850 by Phraya Phisansuppaphol(Bisalpultra), Huo Chuan Lhong marked the biggest steamship terminal in Thailand in the reign of King Rama IV. Every Chinese-born-Siam or Chinese merchants who disembarked and settled their upbringing here would sail to this pier. San He Yuan, the Chinese architectural buildings, were divided as shophouses to display selected merch while the rooms upstair were occupied as the residence before Tan Lib Buay of Wanglee family, a former tenant, took over the place from Bisalpultra clan in 1919. Proceeding cultural renovation to replenish the glory to this historical pier, Lhong 1919 is escalated to be a resourceful complex where people can visit to explore more of the history gigs.

The Museum of Floral Culture

    Located in the two-story 100-year colonial wooden house, The Museum of Floral Culture depicts the dark-aged wooden floor, mellow yellow wall, rattan chairs and the actual 'wall flowers' hugging the shady space. Feel free to catch your step inside and outside casually. Aside from the 7 exhibition rooms that expose the floral culture, Café BOTANICA is blossomly open with homemade bakery and drinks every day.     Dr. Thomas Heyward Hays had commissioned that this library was designated to his love, Jennie Neilson, his departed wife who dedicated her perseverance for this library. The Hop

    Bacc is the downtown iconic art center, free entry eternally. The 9-floor building is quite popular among Thai and foreign people as it nurses almost 2 million visitors per year. Art hubs, creative spaces, select shops, clubs, cafés and restaurants are open to welcome art enthusiasts. But the don't-miss peach is the exhibition on the 7th-9th floor.
