GADHOUSE - Brad Black Edition's Design Story

Turning on Gadhouse - Brad Black Edition, placing the needle lightly on the vinyl spinning round and round, hear the sound of synchronized music and warm, deep and huge tone sent from authentic audio mechanism. It's indeed different from the so-called streaming music available in this digital age because the delicate anatomy of the sound, how it functions and your hearing experience will land you to an ultimate time of real music and gleeful vibes.
Gadhouse defines the record player that sweeps up the play and retro hearing experience with modern technology. 'House of Gadgets' is an initial idea that crafts it all. Gadhouse is a brand of a house where everybody acts different, but lifestyle and duty variety draw the matching shades of retro-modern into one. Their first member is Brad Retro as you know it.
From Retro to Black
Petch-Watcharaphon Teosuwan and Golf-Pichit saramakhom, the founders of the brand, retracked their prime memory when they were starting to design and produce the first prototype.
"Making a record player is hard in every detail. We made the first one when we were amateurs, so it took years to work things out. When we launched the product, we still decided on the shipping method because every process is about business, people and management. Until now, it's still difficult to figure out how we could make it grow."
After the green and grey Brad Retro was launched to the vinyl collective for a while, the vinyl technology was enhanced, so they developed the Brad Black Edition to escalate the quality. It's like a step forward from a vintage lover among an overwhelming stream of today's technology.
Black in Space
"Our design is similar to Brad Retro, but other specific technology and audio enhancement have been elevated, so we integrate more function into Brad Black Edition produced in limited numbers."
Space Age is adapted to Gadhouse's concept. Inspired by the late 60s, listeners could ching along with modernity by the time space travelling was gripping tight to the trend. They later added another attractive function that combines analog and digital dancefloor together.
"It was the space time when people were hyping with galvanized steel and chromium, so we brought those materials to life. Greyish and black matte surface stands out to keep the modern pace. We choose the matte plastic to create durability and decrease the risk to be scratched during playtime. Besides the built-in battery, we groom the Bluetooth output function, wireless; so this is the noble wireless edition. You can just follow the typical ritual by putting your record on, plugging it with the Bluetooth stereo and wirelessly chilling."
The Evolution of Brad Black Edition
The vinyl player turntable with built-in battery allows you to play the song all the way for 4 hours for one-time charging. Plugging it with your stereo or wireless headphones, the lightweight Brad Black Edition is what it is because it freezes the retro charm but inputs Gadhouse's styled technology into perfection.
Although Brad Black Edition was advanced from Brad Retro, it took almost 6 months to complete as details and compartments must be precise. The design is distorted to be another best version.
"Comparing with the first draft, it'd be pretty different. For example, the prior color was a little bit unmanageable in details, but we wouldn't be able to execute them in expected quantities. It needed the new prototype or a large-scaled order. The buttons were also not accurate, but we developed the concept to match the perfect material, assorting the right ones that fit the brand's genuine concept.
Behind the design, Brad Black Edition from Gadhouse, the unused color
"We've been learning since the first product, so it takes less and less time to launch the new ones because we capture all methods into mind. We also know how to collect the customer's data as a fundamental foundation to craft the new product. We usually survey all favors from the customers and ourselves and fortunately, they generally match. Later, we ask them directly, the customers, partners or even the suppliers to evaluate whether our final product will serve their needs."
Gadhouse defines the boutique brand that drapes the product with delicacy, designing the physical and functional outcome to serve definite tastes and lifestyle for each target, while upgrading the quality within approaching technology.
"We can say that we develop every product in every lot, for example, packaging and audio crafting. We also harness older generations of our record players. If you compare each edition that has the same price, audio excellence sheds the suitable sound because we curate the meticulous characters for them. For example, Brad is a teenager who's just started to walk into the vinyl playground, so the stereo is designed to fit the 30-square meters bedroom. If the space is extended, the stereo must be separated to accentuate the sound. If the customers are ready to invest, we offer Dean that comes with the stereo named Joan. This duo would spell the surrounded echo with adjustment functions. We use Audio Technica's needle from Japan, so each generation and product would worth the money without any intention to overrate the price. Every process balances the price and quality, so Gadhouse could deliver the right answer in terms of price when compared to international brands.
Gadhouse's journey - Brad Black Edition is initially inspired by the space appeal and finally falling into the gravity of vinyl lovers. It might take less distance when compared to the original stereo, but it's like an endless road of how Gadhouse would present newer technology in a vintage formula that keeps music dancing into the ear of wonderland.
