ป่านเล่าว่าในช่วงนั้นเธอได้ดูทิวทัศน์พระอาทิตย์ตกและได้สัมผัสซึมซับบรรยากาศแบบเมดิเตอเรเนียนไว้อย่างแนบแน่นจนอยากจะถ่ายทอดความรู้สึกนั้นออกมาเป็นภาพวาดชิ้นนี้
